Big Change Begins with Small, Radical Acts of Love

When you support PFLAG Washington State Council, You Become A Voice For Equality In Your Own Community.

Why PFLAG?

  • PFLAG love and acceptance saves LGBTQ+ lives.

  • PFLAG families grow resilient and empowered LGBTQ+ children.

  • PFLAG groups heal and re-connect families.

  • PFLAG passion powers life-long parent, family, and allied leaders in the struggle for fairness and equality.

PFLAG perseveres.

Please give generously to help ensure that LGBTQ+ people get the family and ally support they need to work, play, pray, learn, and live fairly, safely, and happily.

As an all-volunteer organization and completely self-funding, every single donation impacts our success. With your help, we can continue to support and unify Washington families, create educational resources and provide grants for local PFLAG chapters, and produce annual conferences and outreach programs that advocate for change.

Make Your Gift Go Further

You can support PFLAG Washington State Council in various ways:

Employer Matching

Many employers and companies in our area offer to match employees contributions to a charity. If you make a donation to PFLAG Washington State Council, you might first check with your human resources department so that you can properly follow their matching procedure. Matching companies include Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing, and Alaska Airlines.

United Way and Corporate Giving Campaigns

Employer-sponsored giving is a convenient way to support our work and in some cases also provide matched funds. Many local employers participate in annual United Way campaigns, where they encourage employee donations through matched giving. Other companies have similar giving campaigns not through the United Way and also often match your contribution. In most cases, you can arrange for your donation to be automatically transferred from your monthly paycheck.

When you fill in your donation form for United Way or a giving campaign, you are typically given the option to check a listed charity or write in your own charity of choice. In our case, you most likely need to write in “PFLAG Washington State Council” as your designated charity. Please make sure you include our entire name to avoid confusion and ensure that your donation goes to the correct organization.

Donate to a Chapter

PFLAG is an All Volunteer Grassroots Organization

Our chapters are completely self-funding and do not receive any funds from PFLAG National.

In fact, we annually send PFLAG National a portion of our membership dues. Every single donation has an impact on our work and success. With your help, we can continue to support and unify families, provide our youth safer schools and scholarships, produce educational materials and outreach programs, and advocate for equality.

Our chapter membership forms typically include the option to make a donation when you become a member, but you can make direct donation at any time. To contribute to a Washington PFLAG chapter directly, just click the button with its name to go to its donation page. Some chapters may not have an online donation page and you may need to contact them for an in person donation.

If you don't see your chapter listed here, please contact us at info@pflagwsc.org and we can add it to our page.
